Choosing a Law School

A law school is an institution that provides a necessary certification and qualification to the aspiring lawyer and helps the student pass the bar exam. So, the right choice of law school is very important for an aspiring lawyer or any person who wishes to attain a degree in any one of the fields of law.

Best law schools that provide good faculty and resources for the aspiring lawyer are: Harvard University, Stanford University, Washington University in St. Louis, Duke University and Yale University.

To get into one of the best law schools one has to be good in academics. A good LSAT and GPA score is must. Most importantly, one has to be good in self presentation. The application form should be compelling enough so that it makes one a competitive applicant. The applicant\'s interpersonal and communication skills are also evaluated. Recommendation letters and personal interview are also very significant. The best law schools look for the best possible candidates.

Just because a school is in the list of the best law schools does not mean you should try getting admission to that particular school, without giving any value to other aspects. The courses offered, the curriculum of the school, its physical location, the cost of the school and such things should also be evaluated before applying to any of the law schools.
