New town manager ready for challenges in Old Orchard Beach

OLD ORCHARD BEACH - Old Orchard Beach's newly appointed town manager, Mark Pearson, is scheduled to be on the job as soon as next week. He will replace Jack Turcotte, who announced his plans to retire last summer.

Erma Irene Auer Coffey, 92, of Roseland, died Feb. 1 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Pennsylvania, Nov. 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Auer and Hannah Allebach Auer.
